In December 2019, I was struggling to choose a painting to do of Salvador Dali’s work. You see I love his work. I could have chosen so many of his paintings, from his melting watches to the burning giraffes. His work is full of functional symbolis
I’m, questioning scientific theories, such as Einstein’s theory that time is relative and not fixed. I love it when science and art are interwoven. 😬
I chose to paint ‘The Elephants’ 1948. Elephants are often seen as symbols of strength.
Something, I was determined to have during the next few months. With some planned changes that were commencing.
Dalí said, ‘I am painting pictures which make me die for joy, I am creating with an absolute naturalness, without the slightest aesthetic concern, I am making things that inspire me with a profound emotion and I am trying to paint them honestly’ 😬🤯🤩
👆ARTIST GOAL for 2021 right there. It will take the strength of elephants to stick to it and not cave to paint mainstream but I will succeed.
